Invoicing international clients in their own currency
How to bill clients abroad in their own currency, and the checks to make before you send.
International clients pay faster when an invoice is in their own currency. Pigee Invoicing lets you invoice in foreign currencies, with more than 50 currencies supported, so your client sees a figure they understand and can pay without doing the conversion.
Set the currency
- Open the client and set their preferred currency, or choose it on the invoice.
- Add your line items as usual.
- Check the totals and taxes, then send.
Check before you send
Pigee Invoicing checks each invoice before it goes out and flags anything missing, such as client details or due dates, so you do not send an invoice that cannot be paid.
Things to agree with your client
- Which currency you will invoice in.
- Who pays any bank or conversion fees.
- Payment terms, such as 14 or 30 days.
- Any tax details they need on the invoice.
Get paid online
Include a payment link on the invoice so clients can pay by card from anywhere, and let automatic reminders follow up if payment is late.
