How to take card payments in Pigee Courier
How to connect card payments to your courier account, how customers pay and when the money reaches your bank.
Getting paid at the time of booking removes the most tiring part of running a courier business: chasing money. Courier card payments in Pigee Courier let clients and website customers pay by card, with funds paid straight to your business bank account.
Switch on card payments
Pigee uses Stripe for card processing, so card details are handled by Stripe and never stored by you or by Pigee.
- Open the Get started checklist, or Settings, and choose Set up card payments.
- Follow the secure Stripe onboarding to confirm your business and bank details.
- Once Stripe approves your account, card payment is offered at checkout, in the website widget and on client bookings.
How the money flows
When a customer pays, the payment goes to your connected account. The Pigee platform fee for that delivery is taken automatically at the same time, so there is nothing extra to invoice. Stripe then pays out to your bank on its normal schedule for your country.
Payments in your country
Card payments depend on Stripe being available in your country, which is why choosing your country is the first step in setup. If card payments are not yet available where you operate, contact Pigee support about the options for your market.
